Tahini Brussels Sprouts
Brussel Sprouts....Do you LOVE them, or do you HATE them?🤔
Either way, we've found the ultimate way to spruce up your Sprouts this Christmas.🎄Perfectly roasted, coated in a creamy tahini dressing, topped with pomegranate and BRAVE's Sweet Chilli Roasted Chickpeas. Be gone, boring Brussels! 👋
BRAVE's Tahini Brussels Sprouts
(Serves 4 as a side dish)
Ingredients:
500 Brussels Sprouts
Olive Oil
Salt and pepper
1 tsp Cayenne pepper
1 heaped tbsp Tahini
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
1 Garlic clove, crushed
Ice cold water
Pomegranate Seeds - to top
BRAVE Sweet Chilli Roasted Chickpeas - to top
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 180c Fan
- Cut the bottom of your Sprouts off and cut them in half, toss them in oil, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper in a bowl and place on a baking sheet
- Roast your Sprouts for 20-30 minutes until golden brown
- While your sprouts are roasting, make the tahini sauce
- In a bowl whisk together the tahini, lemon juice, crushed garlic clove, salt and pepper. Loosen the sauce to your desired consistency by gradually adding ice cold water and whisking
- Place your sprouts in a bowl and pour the dressing over them. Top with the pomegranate seeds and BRAVE Sweet Chilli Roasted Chickpeas
