BRAVE's Chocolate Chickpea Granola

Why not fuel up on some of out delish granola, with BRAVE Dark Chocolate Chickpeas? Itā€™s the perfect topping to your morning yoghurt, porridge or smoothie bowl.Ā šŸ˜

BRAVE Chickpeas are a great source of protein and fibre so theyā€™re a great addition to your breakfast, keeping you full until lunchtime!Ā šŸŒ±

Ingredients:

200g Jumbo Oats
1 tsp Cinnamon
75g Mixed Seeds
75g Coconut oil
50ml Maple Syrup
50g BakedĀ Raspberries (We used Urban Fruit Baked Raspberries)
75gĀ Raisins
100g BRAVE Dark Chocolate Roasted Chickpeasā  (Sharing Bag)

Method:

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 180C, 160C fan or 350F.
  2. Melt your coconut oil (in a pan, or in the microwave)
  3. In a large bowl, mix together your oats, cinnamon, mixed seeds and melted coconutĀ oil
  4. Line a baking sheet with greaseproof paper and spread the granola mix evenly across the baking sheet
  5. Drizzle over the maple syrup
  6. Bake in the oven for 20Ā minutes, checking after 10 minutes and turning the granola to make sure it brownsĀ evenly. Bake for the remaining 10 minutes
  7. Remove from the oven and leave to cool completely on the tray
  8. When cool, stir in the BRAVE Dark Chocolate Roasted Chickpeas, baked raspberries and raisinsĀ 
  9. We've served ours on top of porridge with chia seeds, banana, blueberries and peanut butter - but you can be as creative as you like!
